Coach Bolts can offer better security than hex bolts, because of their mushroom head, which makes the bolt more resistant to any unwanted loosening in your application.
In applications on coastal areas or where the Coach Bolt is at risk of corrosion, this is when it is better to use Stainless Steel Coach Bolts, rather than Hot Dipped Galvanised. This is due to Stainless Steel coated Coach Bolts being more resistant to corrosion than Galvanised Coach Bolts.
